Wiz Khalifa Has Tattoos For The Musicians Who Can Out Smoke Him

“That shit hurt so bad. Oh my god, it was the worst tattoo ever," Wiz Khalifa told INKED in his Cover Story.

47-year-old Snoop Dogg’s music could have influenced 32-year-old Wiz Khalifa (I mean, who doesn’t have the Doggystyle album?), but has the Doggfather influenced Wiz’s image?

Snoop admitted Khalifa couldn’t outsmoke him, and only Willie Nelson wears that title. (Khalifa has ink for the country-cannabis idol too.) Still, Wiz, another weed icon in the hip-hop and cannabis community, wears Snoop Dogg’s portrait and album art, tattooed by Brian Henry of Black Sage Studio in Colorado.

While having Snoop Dogg’s face, both as a dog cartoon character and IRL person, is an honor of dedication, these pieces aren’t to pit the two together as pot-stars.

Per our cover story with Wiz back in 2017: “At first it was more like filling up space and getting things I liked tatted on me,” Khalifa says. “But the older I got, the more I realized how spiritual my tattoos are. Everything I feel on the inside is on the outside.”

Wiz Khalifa’s Willie Nelson tattoo on his foot was his most painful, where Khalifa winces in retelling the story: “That shit hurt so bad. Oh my god, it was the worst tattoo ever. I made I through it but there was a couple times I was like, I don’t know if I can do this. I think the longest I could sit is six hours.”
