35 Sensational Vegan and Cruelty Free Tattoos
Celebrate World Plant Milk Day with vegan ink
When I went vegan almost seven years ago, the world was a very different place than it is today. At that time, I knew hardly any other vegans and going out to eat could be a real challenge. Now, the options are endless and almost every restaurant you come across has at least one vegan option. And let’s not forget that many celebrities have gone vegan over the years, including Miley Cyrus, Madelaine Petsch and Alicia Silverstone. Plus, many fast food and chain restaurants are putting massive amounts of money into promoting vegan alternatives, such as the Impossible burger and plant milks.
Plant milks are one of the most sought after vegan alternatives and there are tons of options to choose from. Perhaps the most widely available plant milk is soy milk, which is made soaking, grinding and filtering soybeans. Another popular plant milk is almond milk, which is made by blending and straining almonds with water. And if those aren’t your cup of tea, there’s always cashew milk, oat milk, pea milk, coconut milk, hemp milk and rice milk.
In honor of World Plant Milk Day, we’ve curated 35 of our favorite vegan tattoos from talented artists around the world. Take a look at these epic plant-based tattoos in the gallery below, then let us know your thoughts on this story in the comments section on social media.
