What happens when a tattoo artist and an adrenaline junkie jump out of a plane? Some gnarly tattooing takes place mid-air, of course.
Both Canadian natives, Nadine Elaine and tattoo artist Shannon Claydon, decided to elevate their tattoo game on October 24th by starting out 10,000 feet above the Earth. Once they were high enough they took the plunge and jumped out of the plane, and started tattooing while in a 120 mph freefall! Using a batter-powered tattoo machine, Claydon was able to etch the phrase “AHHH” in his friend’s wrist. With two other jumpers at their sides holding them as still as someone can be during a jump, it was reported that the mission was a smooth success. It only took the artist around 30 seconds to tattoo Elaine, which gave them just enough time to safely release their parachutes.
