A slideshow of the contestants work are below the video.

There’s been a pretty massive void on the Tuesday night television schedule ever since Jason Clay Dunn was named Ink Master and the program closed shop and went home for a little while. Dave Navarro, Chris Nunez and Oliver Peck will be storming back into your living rooms when Ink Master returns for its sixth season starting on June 23rd. Joining them will be 18 tattooists eager to prove to America that they are among the very best in the industry.

Much like in Season Five there is a theme to this iteration of the popular tattoo reality show—Mentors and Apprentices. Don’t let the gimmick fool you, all of these tattooists are more than capable of holding their own. The majority of the former apprentices have 10 plus years experience in the tattoo trade, so it’s not like we’re going to be watching people who just broke out on their own last week. Part of the allure of this gimmick is that familiarity often breeds contempt. We’re bound to see some sparks fly as the former apprentices do their best to outdo the tattooists who taught them the trade.

In the video below you’ll be able to get your first look at all of the talented competitors who will be squaring off to earn the coveted title of Ink Master. As you should know by now the winner will also get $100,000 and a feature in Inked Magazine.

Ink Master

We’re figuring that the video has gotten you all pumped up for the new season but you still have over a month to wait, so why not check out the work of each of the tattooists in the gallery below. Remember, 18 enter but there can be only one Ink Master.
