This year, Russia hosted the 2018 FIFA World Cup from June 14th through July 15th. 32 teams competed for the title, with 64 matches played across 11 cities. The final tournament was held in Moscow on July 15th, with France going head-to-head with Croatia. In the end, France took the title in a 4-2 victory and earned their second World Cup victory in history.
