Beating an addiction is something to be proud of. Very proud of! A person fighting their way out of an addiction deserves the utmost respect and support. So, it only seems fitting that many people get “sobriety” tattoos as a badge of honor, a war medal, a symbol of the struggle and a constant reminder of the strength they showed to come through clean and sober.
Unfortunately, there are very few people in this world that have not been touched in one way or the other by the nightmare of substance abuse — whether it be their personal struggle or that of someone close to them.
