If you have the capacity to commit a cold-blooded murder, you have the capacity to take a disturbing photographic momento of the disgusting crime.
They couldn’t help themselves
We’re fascinated by the things that people do to one another when they think they won’t get caught. How could a normal person lead a double life of debauchery and sick violence right under our noses? But it does happen, and these killers can’t help but take something away from their horrific crimes so that they can remember it. The victim selfie seems to be getting more popular each day.

Maxwell Morton
Maxwell Morton, who was 17 at the time, shot and killed his own friend Ryan Mangan, and his defense team claimed it was just accidental. But that’s pretty hard to argue when Maxwell took a selfie with the boy’s body and sent it to another teen over Snapchat. That teen showed his mom the picture who promptly called police.
