Krampus Tattoos

Here in the United States we know only of Santa Claus—the lovable fella who goes around the world to give children presents on Christmas. And while St. Nick has a naughty list, there aren’t any real consequences for those children that haven’t behaved. In German folklore, however, there is a demon known as Krampus that delivers retribution upon the children that have misbehaved. The very image of Krampus with enormous horns, cloven feet and a pointed tongue is enough to convince children to mind their manners all year long. And like most images bordering on the terrifying, there are a heck of a lot of Krampus tattoos out there. Check out this gallery of some of our favorites.
