‘The Goonies” is turning 30 on June 7. What are you doing to celebrate three decades of one of the greatest films ever made? Astoria, Oregon—the town where director Richard Donner filmed the movie—is hosting a week-long festival that will even have a special appearance by Chunk himself, actor Jeff Cohen. The city expects around 15,000 attendees from all over the world.
That’s one way to honor a film that has inspired generation after generation to chase adventure.
