Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott Show Off Matching Tattoos

Sit down with any respected tattooer and they are going to tell you one thing about name tattoos—you need to be very careful about which name you choose to put on your body forever. Some tattooers even think of name tattoos as a downpayment for the cover-up that they’ll be doing down the road. As a rule, most tattooers will tell you to avoid name tattoos. 

But like with all other rules, there are some exceptions. In this case, the names of loved ones who have passed and your children. Your feelings aren’t going to waver in these cases, so there’s minimal risk in getting that name tattoo. This is exactly what Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott did to honor their daughter, Stormi Webster.

Jenner shared a series of photos and videos, including footage of both Jenner and Scott getting tattooed, to her Instagram over the weekend. “And just like that she’s two ⚡️⚡️,” Jenner wrote on the post. “happy birthday to my Stormi. February 1st 4:43pm the moment my life changed forever. We were meant for each other stormiloo “

The tattoos are understated and tiny. Elegant, even. Completely unlike the birthday party that was thrown for the two-year-old. A pop-up amusement park called StormiWorld was created to celebrate the day. It featured elephants, Trolls and a whole bunch of other insanely decadent shit. There was even a StormiWorld merch tent, for God’s sake. When I turned two, I got a Tonka truck and a chocolate ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. I wanted mint chocolate chip but my mom didn’t like it, so I didn’t get it. I made do. And I didn’t get to ride a goddamn elephant. 

Woah, sorry, I didn’t know I had so much repressed rage about my second birthday. Digressions aside, Jenner and Scott’s tribute to their daughter was very cute. It’s especially nice to see that they can come together to do something nice for their daughter even after they’ve broken up.
