Does Salma Hayek Have a Secret Chest Tattoo?

While we’ve become accustomed to knowing everything about our favorite celebrities, from their upcoming projects to their latest fling, sometimes a star is able to slip under the radar with a big secret. And based on a brand new photo posted to Instagram, many fans believe that actress Salma Hayek pulled a fast one by revealing a secret tattoo on her chest.

However, upon closer inspection of the caption, it’s clear that the ink is part of a costume for her upcoming film, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. This film is the sequel to 2017’s The Hitman’s Bodyguard, which starred Hayek alongside Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson. Production for the highly anticipated sequel has only just begun, with filming taking place throughout Europe during March and April of 2019. 

And while the bird tattoo on Hayek’s chest is what initially caught the media off guard, based on other behind-the-scenes shots, it’s far from her characters only tattoo. In this photo posted by Hayek on April 15th, she’s seen with two visible tattoos: a rosary around her right arm and a cross on her left hand.
