On November 13th, 2015, a series of terrorist attacks rocked Paris, France. There were a total of three suicide bombings and four shootings between 9:20pm and 10:00pm Central European Time and 129 victims died during the cumulative attacks. This is considered to be the deadliest attack on French soil since World War II and the city is still fighting to recover days after the events took place.
Despite the attacks that took place on the 13th of November, it is important to remember that Paris is not only a place where tragedy struck, but also a landmark of artistic and cultural exploration. Paris has long been a city of artists; producing visionaries such as Claude Monet and Edgar Degas. But in addition to producing the artists that we study in school, Paris also hosts some of the world’s best tattoo artists. People from all over the globe flock to Paris to observe the iconic monuments, shop on the Champs-Élysées, and of course get some ink to remember their trip abroad. Here are some tattoos by Parisian artists that everyone should keep their eyes on.
