Tattoo artists have been capturing the feminine mystique in their tattoos since the art form began—from the hula dancers of the Sailor Jerry era to the geishas of traditional Japanese tattooing. Yet, more often than not, tattoo artists tend to capture women in a similar light, emphasizing the hourglass shape of a 1940s pinup girl. But, as we all know, not every woman has this body type and these tattoos prove that women can be beautiful no matter their size.
