When did you first get tattooed, what was the tattoo and why did you get it?
I was first tattooed when I was 14 and trying to be a rebellious teenager. I got three stars on my foot in a house by a guy with a homemade tattoo gun.
Do any of your tattoos have stories behind them?
I have a matching teal bow on my left wrist with one of my best friends since I was really little. The ink always ties us together even when we’re separated!
Which is your favorite tattoo?
My favorite tattoo has to be my entire left sleeve. In it I have a compass with my mother’s initials, a helm with my brothers initials, an anchor with my sisters & my sons birthdate. All tied together with roses and the word ‘thankful.’ Family is the most important thing to me. My mother’s initials in the compass symbolizes that she always points me in the direction in which I should go.
Tell us a little bit about the script on your stomach.
The script on my stomach reads ‘fall down seven times, stand up eight.’ It’s from a passage out of the bible meaning always get up more times than you are knocked down. Keep pushing forward.
In your profile you mention that all of your tattoos are done by the same artist. Why have you chosen to only be tattooed by him?
Yes, all my tattoos are done by Bobby Allen. I first fell in love with his portfolio and when I describe how I want each tattoo he blows me away with how perfectly he draws them up to how I want them. He’s also a really chill guy to talk too.
Do you have any ink planned for the future?
I have quite a few ideas, but I’m not in any hurry for more right now.
Do you think your tattoos enhance your sex appeal?
I think it depends on the judge. Some people are extremely attracted to tattoos and some are not. I do though, think they make me, me.
How do you incorporate your tattoos into your overall style?
I think I have more of an edgy style, I wear a lot of black which flows really well with black and grey tattoos. They’re more dark and bold, just like how I dress.
What do you do when you aren’t in front of a camera?
When I’m not in front of the camera I’m busy raising my son, Kaeden. Doing my best to be the best mother I can be for him. He keeps me happy and busy.
