Founded by CEO Gamze Ates, My Beachy Side is a brand of hand knit beach accessories that was created as a way to provide jobs for women in Turkey. The employment rate of women in that country is a paltry 30% and My Beachy Side uses its proceeds to help employee women as well as to provide assistance to domestically abused women in Turkey.
