Yves Mathieu is Shaking Up Society Through Social Justice
In October of 2017, INKED Magazine released the first ‘Inked For a Cause’ issue—which highlighted the beauty and strength of breast cancer survivors through the lens of tattooing. But, while mastectomy tattoos may be the most obvious choice, there are plenty of other ways to use ink to raise awareness for a worthy cause. One example of this can be seen through LGBTQIA+ activist and model Yves Mathieu, who went viral at the 2018 Women’s March. He’s using his head turning ink to stand up for trans women on a world wide platform, asking audiences to look at his ink and his impressive platform. Take a look at the gallery below to learn more about this model on a mission and let us know what you think of his incredible activism in the comments section on Facebook.
