Inked Girl of the Month November 2026: Angelie Andanar Is Breaking Stereotypes Through Ink and Advocacy
Angelie Andanar is challenging perceptions of heavily tattooed women
For Angelie Andanar, better known as Pench, tattoos are a reflection of her creativity, personal experiences, and the people who matter most to her.
Originally from the Philippines, Angelie has built a life around her love for culinary and pastry arts, alongside her dedication to helping others. Beyond her striking tattoo collection, she is an advocate for children living with chronic illnesses and special needs, leading community outreach initiatives and donation drives.
As Inked Magazine’s November 2026 Inked Girl of the Month, Angelie is sharing the stories behind her tattoos and challenging the assumptions people make based on appearance.
The Meaning Behind Angelie’s Tattoos
Angelie’s connection to tattoo culture began long before she got her first piece. Growing up with a love for drawing, she developed an appreciation for visual art that eventually extended to tattoos and body modification.
Her first tattoo was a fairy, inspired by the recurring dreams she experienced as a child. What began as a childhood fascination became her introduction to permanent body art.
Among her collection, one piece holds particularly special meaning: a custom daisy tattoo on her forehead featuring her eldest child’s name.
“My most treasured tattoo is a custom daisy design on my forehead, featuring my eldest child’s name,” Angelie shares.
The flower was chosen because daisies are her daughter’s favorite, making the piece a permanent tribute to someone she loves.
And her collection is far from finished. With several tattoos still in progress, Angelie is looking forward to completing her existing pieces and bringing more of her artistic ideas to life.
Beyond the Ink: Culinary Arts and Compassion
While her tattoos may be the first thing people notice, there is much more to Angelie’s story.
Her love for cooking and baking inspired her to formally study culinary and pastry arts, a field she continues to pursue. Outside the kitchen, she enjoys quiet dates at home, spending time with her cats, and dedicating herself to community outreach.
Angelie is particularly committed to supporting children with special needs and chronic illnesses, leading donation drives and outreach efforts for communities in need.
She recognizes that her heavily tattooed appearance can lead to quick judgments. Through her advocacy work, Angelie demonstrates that appearances don’t always reflect the person underneath.
For Angelie, having an extensive tattoo collection and being deeply committed to helping others are simply two parts of who she is.
Inked Girl of the Month November 2026 Looks Ahead
Being recognized as Inked Magazine’s Inked Girl of the Month gives Angelie an opportunity to share her story with a wider audience and challenge traditional stereotypes surrounding heavily tattooed individuals.
“Being featured as Inked Girl of the Month is a tremendous honor,” she says. “It provides a wonderful platform to share my story, challenge traditional stereotypes, and show the world that body art and a compassionate heart can go hand in hand.”
Looking ahead, Angelie is focused on further developing her culinary skills while expanding her advocacy efforts to reach more children and communities in need.
Whether she is working in the kitchen, organizing community initiatives, or adding to her tattoo collection, Angelie continues to pursue the things that matter to her. Her story is a reminder that tattoos may tell part of someone’s story, but they never tell the whole thing.
