Snow day! Wooohoooo! Thanks to winter storm Juno most of the northeastern part of the United States is enjoying a snow day today. Instead of getting up at the crack of dawn and enduring a harrowing commute full of people with sub-par hygiene skills before spending an entire day staring at monitor we get to stay home. Many people will not even put on pants today. At all. And that’s cool but you could be out there doing so much more.
A day away from the job means a day that you can spend being creative and getting weird. There is even a fun (and free) substance to play with thanks to Mother Nature dumping between 8 inches to two feet of snow all over the place. Go out there and make the weirdest, craziest, funniest snow sculpture you can. Or build an epic snow fort that will have you reconsidering whether you really even need to rent that apartment. Pelt your friends (and enemies) with snowballs until your arm falls off.
If you happen to not be the outdoorsy type might we recommend you pop into your local tattoo shop. Judging by what we’ve been seeing on social media a lot of artists went to work today and are likely hoping for some clients that want to get tattooed. If your street is plowed, or there is at least a well worn path, you might want to check it out.
If you are looking for some inspiration before bundling up and attacking that snow with your creativity check out this gallery of creations that blew our minds.
