Alysha Nett checks in with us as often as her busy schedule will allow to give her insight on modeling, tattoos and art. She even throws in a recipe from time to time. We all know how good she looks in front of the camera, but now she has flipped the script and is shooting her sexy friends. Alysha always makes sure to include plenty of sexy pictures of her exploits, so check back often to see what she’s been up to.
Hey everyone!
Sorry I was MIA last month… it was a crazy one! The good news is, I have a brand new photo set for you, all of my friend Alanna Pearl. Alanna is a force to be reckoned with! Somewhat like a creative genius, her style is out of this world. She has a really cool look and enormous confidence. In fact, I’ve been dying to work with her for a few years now but was so intimidated by her that I wasn’t sure I could do her justice. That said, I’m super pumped on the photos we got and so grateful that she wanted to work with me. Be sure to check out her first debut soft-core porn, Cooking with Candice. NSFW but worth the sneaky peek on your lunch break 😉
I’ll be back soon!
xo

Hey Alanna! Thanks for shooting with me for my blog on Inked! Can you tell the readers a little about yourself to start off?
Thank you, honestly such a pleasure! Of course, my nickname is Pearly, I’m a wardrobe stylist & just generally a creative being. I also enjoy DJing & my new found love of directing.
You’re an LA transplant, much like myself. How long ago did you move here and from where?
Oh yes, I have been living in Los Angeles for 5 years this month actually, & I come from Durango Colorado, a tiny town close to the 4 corners. Very beautiful & interesting place to grow up.
I’m so impressed by your tattoos. Your back piece is so beautiful! Who does most of your work?
Thank you! I’m lucky to have my best friend, Roger Seliner, whom I have known since I was 16. He also moved out to Los Angeles around the same time as I, so he is always my go to guy for any sort of idea I may have. He actually drew my back piece on with a pen(!). He gets so nasty with that tattoo gun!! He has been one of my creative mentors since I met him. I don’t think he knew what he got himself into when we met (laughs).
At what age did you start getting tattooed?
My best friend Monica, who is a few years older than me (but everyone actually thinks we are either twins or sisters) was another amazing creative inspiration to me. She had gotten a tattoo machine back in high school & would give some pretty good tattoos to all of our friends. I finally was able to pressure her into giving me one when i was 17 & she popped my cherry with a 13 tattoo.
Which are some of your more favorite pieces that you have?
I love all my tiny little guys. A heart on my earlobe, a heart on the palm of my hand, my crying eyes on my wrist. But I just got my new fav which is “Politicking with the Freaks” a lyric from “Remember Me” on Jeremih’s new Late Nights album. I’m honestly obsessed with the whole album.
I love all the outfits you picked for our shoot. They really complimented your ink but still showed off your style that I love so much. What inspires your fashion sense?
Wow that’s so sweet! It’s so hard to pin point. I got really into Tank Girl when I was 17-20, so that inspired me in a realm of post-apocalyptic fashions, (as everyone talked about the world ending in 2012 whether joking or not) so I loved the idea of looking chic but everything being functional. From there I get inspired by my moods & feelings that I go through. I like to be comfortable but still look my best on any given day. You never know what may happen 🙂
If you could only keep 3 of your favorite wardrobe items, what would they be?
Oh my gosh, you can’t make me choose! Hm as of right now, currently, this moment… Probably my checkered Vans slip ons, my fav black slip, & my oversized Tommy Hilfiger bomber jacket I’ve been wearing for years now.
What sort of projects do you like styling for the most?
I’ve honestly been blessed on the projects I have gotten to be apart of; working with David LaChapelle is always such an honor. They are always the most fun & for the most part professional ;-). Other than that I love to work on music videos. I’m lucky people hire me for my style specifically instead of coming to me with an idea. It makes me so happy to get to do what I love!
You are creative in more ways than one. I watched your directorial debut with “Cooking with Candice.” I was totally intrigued. I’m also a sucker for anything VHS & hot babes (laughs). What inspired you to create a soft-core porn?
I honestly have had that vision in my head for the past 4 years now. The idea of a woman cooking other women as if they are meat represented so much to me & I had such a vivid image of it in my mind. When I finally realized that I could actually make this become a reality, instead of just drunkenly talk about how I wanted to be a soft core porn director was the day my life changed. I put my mind to it & somehow made the movie happen with a very tiny budget & a lot of will power. I want to make a safe conversation for all to speak about porn, I wanted to bring almost a comedic & artistic take on it to the industry & see where it can take me.
How many VHS tapes went in to the making?
I think we got about an hour & a half of footage all together, so only 1 tape 😉
I imagine it went well considering there is a new one in the works? Tell me more about that. When can we expect a new one?
I plan on shooting film number 2 within the next couple of months here & have it out by end of summer! I can’t wait to share this second one.
Will the concept be similar?
Really the only on going theme with them is it is 1990s does porn in another era, they are all filmed on VHS camera & will all have an original score. I am so excited for this one we are about to start filming, & even more so about the one to follow! Some really heavy hitters that I have admired for a while are going to be involved!
Director bb Alanna in the house, I love it! Do you see this blossoming into a new career path for you?
I sure hope so. I’m going to continue to make them either way!
Where can our readers check out the original short film, Cooking with Candice?
