Kat Von D Inks Miley Cyrus
The 20-year-old singer who was once a staple on the sickeningly wholesome Disney Channel has been adding a great deal of ink to her skin in recent years.
Rarely a day goes by when Miley Cyrus isn’t in the news for some sort of controversy. The stories involving a racy photo shoot or her passion for twerking are easy to ignore. When the story involves a tattoo from Kat Von D, well, that’s when things get interesting.
The 20-year-old singer who was once a staple on the sickeningly wholesome Disney Channel has been adding a great deal of ink to her skin in recent years. For her latest piece Cyrus had a portrait of her maternal grandmother, Loretta Finley, tattooed on her right arm by Kat. On her Twitter page Cyrus posted a picture of her tattoo with the caption “because i am her favorite & she is mine.”

Kat also documented the experience through her Twitter and Instagram pages. Kat worked off a vintage photo of Finley while creating the portrait and uploaded pictures of the work as it was in progress. Kat also gushed about how much she enjoyed tattooing Cyrus.

“Love, love, loved tattooing you last night @mileycyrus. #miniportraittattooparty,” Kat said on her Instagram.
