On the scale of teenage rebellion getting a tattoo falls somewhere in between skipping school and getting arrested for throwing a rager while your parents are away for the weekend. Kendall Jenner, the 19-year-old member of reality TV’s favorite family, joined a group of friends in a trip to the tattoo shop to get some ink this week.
Kim Kardashian has always warned her younger sister about getting tattooed, comparing the act to putting a bumper sticker on a Bentley. Running with that analogy the tattoo that Jenner received would be more like a postage stamp stuck on the bottom end of the Bentley’s fender—the tattoo is a tiny white dot on the inside of her middle finger. While her big sister is probably going to be steamed that Jenner got the ink she probably would have never even noticed the tattoo if it weren’t for social media. Well, as long as Jenner refrained from shooting the bird at any family gatherings.
Jenner was joined at New York’s West 4 Tattoo by her friend and fellow model Hailey Baldwin (Ireland’s cousin and Stephen’s daughter) as well as Joe Termini and Harry Hudson. All four pals were inked by tattooist Jon Boy—Baldwin got a small “g” behind her ear while the other three got matching white dots. Baldwin’s ink is a tribute to Georgia Veach, the daughter of pastors Chad and Julia Veach. Georgia has been diagnosed with a rare brain condition and being inked with her initial has become a way for people to show their support, according toThe Daily Mail.
