If you are anything like me you have spent the last 24 hours playing on HowOld.net. The Microsoft run website analyzes pictures that you upload to tell you the age and gender of the people in the photos. I have spent hours screaming at my computer as the site tells me that I am at least 60-years-old every time, this is bad news for a child of the 1980’s. When I wasn’t busy berating the site and getting ready to schedule a facelift I got to wondering how the site would react to portrait tattoos. Would it even recognize them as faces? And, if it could do that, how accurate would it be in determining the age of the subjects of each tattoo? In the gallery below you will see the results of our experiment.
