We can’t remember an episode of Spongebob Squarepants that involved him entering a tattoo shop and sitting down for a session (that’s a tip to you, writers), but we do recall the famous sponge to be quite spectacular at reacting to any and every situation. If he were to get a tattoo, it’d probably be some matchy-matchy BFF ink with Patrick, or an ode to his snail, Gary. During the session his generous heart would race, his tears would flood(?) all of Bikini Bottom, and upon completion he’d throw a parade complete with free Krabby Patties (don’t tell Mr. Krabbs). Perhaps he would take the pain lightly–we imagine otherwise.
Whether you identify with Spongebob Squarepants, Squidward, or Larry the Lobster, you can’t deny tattoos cause a great deal of pain. We’ve compiled some of Spongebob’s greatest reactions to sum up the experience.
