Inked Man of the Month November 2026: Alessandro Cavallo Lives for Tattoos and the Open Road
From traditional tattoos to Harley-Davidson choppers, Alessandro Cavallo has built a life around the things he loves most.
For Alessandro Cavallo, two things have always stood out: tattoos and motorcycles. Growing up in southern Germany with Italian and French roots, he developed an appreciation for both long before they became defining parts of his life.
Now 47, Alessandro works as the Social Media and Marketing Manager at Harley-Davidson Köln-Bonn, an authorized dealership in Germany. Before making the switch, he spent nearly 25 years working in web and graphic design.
As Inked Magazine’s November 2026 Inked Man of the Month, Alessandro shares the stories behind his tattoo collection, his love for motorcycles, and why a little piece of the ’90s will always be part of who he is.
The Meaning Behind Alessandro’s Tattoos
Growing up in a small German town during the 1990s, getting tattooed wasn’t exactly encouraged. Tattoos were often associated with criminals and troublemakers, and Alessandro knew that visible ink could create problems with employers.
When he finally decided to get his first tattoo, the experience was anything but ideal. His artist was intoxicated, worked without gloves, and tattooed deeply enough to leave significant scarring.
The design featured Chinese characters intended to represent luck, energy, and confidence. Despite the experience, Alessandro never considered removing it.
“It’s my first one, and I actually incorporated it into my full sleeve,” he explains. “It’s part of my story, and I’m not about to erase it.”
Although he appreciates tattoos primarily for their artwork and aesthetics, a few pieces carry personal significance.
After being diagnosed with vitiligo in his early twenties, Alessandro struggled with the changes to his appearance. Eventually, he learned to accept himself and marked that experience with the Latin phrase “Nosce te ipsum,” meaning “Know thyself.”
His collection reflects his appreciation for different styles. Traditional tattooing remains his favorite, although one entire arm features Japanese-style artwork, which he admires for its decorative qualities.
Choppers, Creativity, and a Love for the ’90s
Motorcycles have been a constant in Alessandro’s life, particularly Harley-Davidsons and custom choppers.
For him, nothing compares to packing a tent and a few essentials, meeting up with friends, and heading out without a destination in mind.
“It’s the one place where I can truly experience that feeling of freedom,” he says.
His creative background also extends beyond tattoos and motorcycles. After decades in graphic design, his current role at Harley-Davidson combines his professional experience with one of his biggest interests.
Despite his tattooed appearance and social media presence, Alessandro describes himself as a funny, goofy, and happy person.
A former teenage skateboarder, he admits he never quite left the 1990s behind. And as far as growing up goes, he’s in no particular hurry.
Inked Man of the Month November 2026 Looks Ahead
Being selected as Inked Magazine’s November Inked Man of the Month came as a genuine surprise to Alessandro.
“I’ve never considered myself anything special. I’m no better or worse than anyone else,” he shares. “But hey, I’m still damn happy about it!”
As for what’s next, there’s plenty more ink on his agenda. He plans to tattoo his stomach, finish his back, and finally start adding artwork to his largely untouched legs.
When riding season returns to Germany, Alessandro also plans to get back on his chopper and document his adventures through short films on social media, capturing the freedom and excitement he finds on the road.
Whether he’s adding to his tattoo collection or heading out for another ride, Alessandro continues to make room for the things that have fascinated him since childhood. Tattoos, motorcycles, and a lasting appreciation for the ’90s remain at the center of it all.
