Know for being one of the most unique organisms in the animal kingdom, jellyfish have survived for millions of years without digestive, central nervous, respiratory, or circulatory systems. They can reach up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) in diameter yet some are so small that they cannot be seen without a microscope. Jellyfish have come to represent intention and trust in the process, going with the flow if you will. And with their strange anatomical structure, it is clear that jellyfish rely very heavily on the universe for their survival, a sentiment that has inspired many people to get jellyfish tattoos. Of course, the simple fact that jellyfish are beyond beautiful also makes them perfect subject matter for tattoos.
