Ozzy Osbourne’s Final Black Sabbath Show Raises $190 Million for Charity

Heavy metal’s Prince of Darkness just delivered a final blow that rocked more than the stage — it made a serious impact for good.

Ozzy Osbourne returned to Birmingham earlier this month for a monumental final performance with Black Sabbath at Villa Park, the band’s hometown turf. The concert, titled “Back to the Beginning,” marked a full-circle moment for the legendary frontman, bringing him back to where it all started, and possibly ended, with over 40,000 fans in attendance and nearly six million watching online.

The numbers? Absolutely massive. According to Osbourne’s team on Instagram, the show raised an incredible $190 million for charity. Funds will benefit organizations close to Osbourne’s heart, including Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Directed by Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, the show wasn’t just a reunion — it was a cultural moment, packed with performances from the heaviest hitters in rock and metal, including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, and Slayer. And while Osbourne delivered the goods from a throne (a nod to recent health battles), he didn’t miss a beat.

If this truly was Osbourne’s final bow with Black Sabbath, it wasn’t just legendary — it was historic. A metal icon signed off with power, purpose, and a whole lot of heart.
