Rob Zombie Fires Back at Babymetal Haters Because ‘They roll harder than you’

Rob Zombie shares one photo of himself with Babymetal and boom! The world goes wild. Zombie and Babymetal performed at Carolina Rebellion earlier in the month, and took a quick photo together—the horror. The daring picture really angered heavy metal fans.

Zombie captioned the Instagram post, “Backstage with my new pals,” followed by a series of hashtags including, “#zombiefansrule.” But fans crowded the comment section with negativity. One user wrote, “Fuck you for supporting that Trash rob zombie.” He shared the same photo on Facebook, where trolls really went in. Zombie’s responses are epic.

It seems some people are largely concerned with the idea of girls infiltrating the heavy metal scene, which is occupied mostly by men. Come on people—there’s plenty of room for everyone. Some claim Babymetal is “J-Pop, not metal.” Zombie ensured the world their idea of Babymetal was total bullshit. The tattooed rocker told users not to let Babymetal’s cute looks fool them, “These three girls had more energy [than] 90 percent of the bands we play with.”

Babymetal commented on the busy Facebook post too.

The Japanese artists wrote, “Thank you Rob! The Spirit of HEAVY METAL traversed across the World, rose above language barriers, went beyond generations and created countless legends.” They added, “See you again at Northern Invasion!” The comment garnered nearly 4,000 Likes.

Babymetal shared a different photo on their page thanking Zombie for stopping by their set.

Here’s a reminder to the great world that where there is a post, there is a troll. Kudos to Zombie for backing Babymetal, and congrats on the sexy photo-op. Rock on.
