Imagine the public outcry if a private art collector were to have their collection of Picassos, Rembrandts and Vermeers buried or cremated with them. And yet, for the tattoo community, whose collective ink has come to represent the work of some of the finest artisans and craftsmen around the globe, it’s an everyday occurrence for which there’s never been an alternative. Up until now.
Enter The National Association for the Preservation of Skin Art (or NAPSA for short), a revolutionary, new, one of a kind, non-profit organization that offers its members the opportunity to preserve their tattoos post-mortem so that both their skin art and legacy may live on.
