Man Chained to Table and Tattooed on Stage at Lollapalooza
Can you imagine getting your face tattooed like this?
Last weekend, at Chicago’s Lollapalooza music festival, tattoos took center stage during rapper Ghostemane’s set. During a performance of his 2018 track “Ballgag,” a fan was tattooed on stage by Los Angeles artist Cali Shay.
The tattoo hit social media when it was tweeted to the masses by Chicago artist Chuck Anderson, who noted that the tattoo client was chained to a table while getting the side of his face inked by the gothic beauty.
“Dad tell me about your face tattoo”
“Well, it was the summer of 2019. Lollapalooza. Ghostmane was performing a song called ‘Ball Gag’ at the T-Mobile stage and I was literally chained to a table” pic.twitter.com/stuZy6x3s8

And after a fair bit of sleuthing, we found the finished product, which reads “Kill the Machine,” a line from Ghostemane’s 2018 song “Flesh.”
