Get inked at a real-life military base during the Star City Tattoo and Arts Expo!
Members of our armed forces have basked in ink culture since the days of Sailor Jerry, when tattoos were seen as mostly something sailors did to pay homage to their seafaring journeys across the world. Since then, ink and military life have become so attached to one another that branches of the military have to redraft new policies every couple of years to be able to admit new enlistees.
With this in mind, Star City Tattoo and Arts Expo set out last year to honor those who bravely serve their country, becoming the first and only tattoo convention held at a military base. Their first event drew nearly 2,500 attendees, and this year that number is expected to double for the three-day event, which takes place from March 17-19th at the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center at Fort Bliss in Texas.
