Kim Kardashian’s Nude Selfie Is Now A Tattoo

We found something that will last longer than Kim Kardashian West‘s censored selfies. Tattooer Charley Gerardin of Melbourne, Australia, inked the controversial pic on a client… and we love it.
Like Kim’s nudes, Gerardin’s tattoo received mixed reviews. Unlike Kim, Gerardin didn’t let the haters get to him. “It was kind of funny to watch the reaction,” he told Inked, “But I just ignored the [negativity].”
When Chloe Grace Moretz tweeted Kim to set better goals for young women, Kim replied, “let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is.”
Gerardin’s post received a lot of support too. Many users wrote comments along the lines of, “Next tattttt,” and “I need this omg,” and “Shit is lit.” The tattooer said Kim is a modern day pin-up, thus fitting in with our industry, “The female figure has [always] been part of tattoo designs.” Plus, he thinks selfies are very important (we agree), “Selfies let people show themselves the way they want to be seen.”
Kim’s OG controversial selfie was posted on March 7. Her lady parts were blocked with black censor bars (immediately encouraging the world to start wearing black bandeaus again). She captioned the pic, “When you’re like I have nothing to wear LOL.” Girl, we all know your closet treats you well.
Her second revealing post included nude-selfie-supporter Emily Ratajkowski. The two also blocked their boobs with black censor bars and flipped the middle finger to the haters. Both posts triggered backfire from celebs and social media users, especially British journalist Piers Morgan.

Morgan used Twitter to allegedly slut sham Kim. Shortly after she and Emily’s post, Morgan shared a photo on Twitter with the caption, “RIP feminism.”

Morgan’s Twitter rant continued, “[Feminism] is supposed to be the advocacy of women’s rights & equality with men. Not, I dare to suggest, topless selfies.” He also tweeted that “getting their t*ts out” does not offend him, but doing it the name of feminism does. “@KimKardashian [would be] more empowering to women now by proving she can succeed with her clothes on & middle finger down,” he wrote.
Morgan also offered to buy Kim some clothes due to Kanye’s alleged $53 million debt.
If women genuinely think this photo advocates women's rights & equality, then feminism as it was intended is dead. pic.twitter.com/8Anm7yPYfI

In defense of the censored selfie, Amber Rose, an Inked favorite and frenemy of Kim’s, asked the 35-year-old to speak at her 2016 Slut Walk, “If anyone knows what it’s like to be Slut Shamed it’s u! Live it Kim! Make a difference and speak on it!”
Rose also responded to P!nk’s criticism, “Pink, we’ve seen u damn near naked swinging from a rope (beautifully) but what’s the difference between a rope, a pole and a pic on Instagram?”

” target=”_blank”>Damn Pink we were all born naked society sexualizes our breast and bodies. If a grown mother of 2 is comfortable with her body and wants to show it off that’s none of ur business or anyone else’s. Now, if u wanna talk to kids and be a mentor to young teens, tell them to go to school and to not use their bodies to get ahead?! I’m all for it! But please as a grown woman let another grown woman live as she wishes. That’s our problem! We’re so quick to down each other instead of uplifting! Pink, We’ve seen u damn near naked swinging from a rope( Beautifully) but what’s the difference between a rope, a pole and a pic on Instagram? Classism. Because u sing while ur half naked does that make it “Classy” or is it because u have a “talent”? I’m not dissing at all Pink just curious after u said “You’ll never have to make a silly excuse for yourself”.

Gerardin supports Kim’s posts, “A woman’s body is far from offensive, it’s full of beauty and they should be proud of who they are.”
No woman or man should ever be judged for what they do with their body. That’s why it’s his or her body and not yours. Tattoos and nude selfies alike (we’ve all taken them), one’s body is nobody’s business but their own. #Freethenipple.
