Nicolas Amiard, a graphic designer and artist from Paris, has given a facelift to some of the fine art that his hometown is renowned for. Amiard is clearly an admirer of the masterpieces hanging in the Louvre and the Musee d’Orsay, but he also admires all styles of tattoo art. For his series entitled “The Art of Tattoo” Amiard combined his two loves. In the gallery below you’ll see the works of the masters in a light than you never imagined, and will probably feel a bit differently about tattoo art as well.
