Woman Gets Tattoo to Match Her Rescue Dog’s Brand

When Vanessa Marie Rose rescued her dog, Toby, from a high-kill shelter in Ohio, where he spent more than six years trapped in a cage, he came with an “05” brand inside his ear. So, to celebrate their special bond, which Rose says helped her through a difficult time in her life, she got an “05” tattoo with a heart behind her own ear to match Toby’s brand.
