75 Brilliant Buzz Lightyear Tattoos
Have you seen "Lightyear" yet?
We all know Buzz Lightyear’s origin story as a toy in 1995’s “Toy Story,” but now we’re getting to know more about the space ranger behind the toy. “Lightyear” is a spin-off film that follows a young Buzz Lightyear who must find his way home after being left on a hostile planet. Lightyear is portrayed by Chris Evans, whom you all likely know as Captain America. The film also features performances by Keke Palmer, Taika Waititi, and Uzo Aduba. Lightyear’s nemesis is Emperor Zurg, who you likely remember from the previous films, and he’s portrayed by James Brolin. The film is directed by Angus MacLane, who came up with the idea after wrapping up work on 2016’s “Finding Dory.” “Lightyear” is his directorial debut and it’s the first Pixar film to be released in theaters worldwide since 2020’s “Onward.” Explore Buzz Lightyear tattoos and more in our gallery below.
Despite this being his big screen debut, this is technically Buzz Lightyear the Space Ranger’s third media appearance. He first appeared in the animated television series “Buzz Lightyear of Star Command,” which aired for one season from October 2000 to January 2001. He also starred in the 2000 direct-to-video film, “Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins.” He, of course, also appeared as a toy in all four “Toy Story” films and was voiced by actor Tim Allen throughout.
