Do you recognize this man's tattoo?
On May 3rd, a body was discovered at 135 Edgewater St on the Staten Island Shoreline at approximately 3:30pm. The NYPD has since released a photo of a tattoo, hoping to identify the man who washed up on the shore.
The man, who was described at standing between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-6, weighing between 125 to 150 pounds, had two distinctive tattoos: a triangular eye with script on his shoulder blade and a five-pointed star enclosed in a circle on his wrist. At the time he was found, he was wearing blue jeans, dark colored socks, and red Puma sneakers with white stripes.
A medical examiner has yet to determine the cause of death and police are still working to identify the body. What do you think of this peculiar story? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section on Facebook.
