75 Delightful Dice Tattoos
Are you feeling lucky?
When it comes to games, dice make everything more interesting. Standard dice are six-sided throwing objects with a different number of dots on each side. These dots are called pips, and in most cases, dice have the numbers one through six on them. Dice have been used for centuries, and it’s speculated that their original purpose was for fortune-telling. Some of the most popular games where dice are used include Yahtzee, Craps, Monopoly, and Backgammon. In most casinos, these dice are made from a clear material to prevent weighted or cheat dice from being added to games. Although the six-side die is the standard, many games include polyhedral dice. In the game Dungeons and Dragons, there are seven types of dice used throughout the game. This game includes 20-sided, 12-sided, 10-sided, 8-sided, 6-sided, and 4-sided dice. In some games, these dice will include non-numerical characters and symbols, such as Poker dice. For those passionate about gaming, dice tattoos have become a popular way to showcase their love for these classic gaming tools.
Aside from playing games, dice are also recognized as car ornaments. Fuzzy or fluffy dice are commonly used to decorate automobiles. These dice are oversized, plush and usually covered in pink or red faux-fur. They began appearing in the planes of fighter pilots during WWII as a symbol of good luck and then they were sold commercially in the 1950s. Today, they continue to be a favorite in the lowrider community.
