Drake is Stepping Into the Marijuana Industry
It's time to blaze
Canadian rapper, Drake, is opening up a new cannabis wellness business with company Canopy Growth– More Life Growth Company. Drake will be acquiring 60% of ownership interest in More Life Growth Company, and the plan is to sell dried herb, teas, and clothing merch. Canopy Growth tweeted the announcement this morning-

Drake isn’t the only celebrity to invest in the marijuana industry- Snoop Dogg was obviously one of the firsts, but also Mike Tyson, Martha Stewart, and Melissa Etheridge.
It’s hopeful that the attention from celebrities will make nation-wide, recreational legalization more possible, but it’s unclear despite most American’s being in favor of legalization of marijuana.
