Grammy Winner Eric Bellinger Drops New Music
We sat down with the Grammy winning songwriter to talk about his new album with Nieman J
Eric Bellinger has been a huge part of R&B over the last decade, both as a songwriter and a solo artist. Bellinger has written songs for many A-list musicians, including Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Brandy, Usher and Trey Songz. He even won a Grammy in 2012 for Best R&B album for his work on Chris Brown’s “F.A.M.E.” Bellinger has also contributed a number of studio albums, EPs and mixtapes as a solo artist, many of which have charted in the top 20 on the US R&B charts.
On April 24th Bellinger debuted his latest project, a collaborative album called “Optimal Music” alongside fellow R&B musician Nieman J. “I’m always excited for release day,” Bellinger shares. “It’s another opportunity for fans and friends to get to know me. It’s great to give out new vibes for the world to rock out to and for them to see my growth as well.”
As someone who has been releasing solo music since 2013, Bellinger has had time to evolve as an artist and showcase versatility for his fans. And in an time where there are more poppin musicians than ever before, he sees the importance of making every song a chart topping number. “This is an album of all hit records,” Bellinger explains. “Nieman really went all out with the production and the features. We’ve got huge features like Young Thug, Wale, Jerimih, Elliot Trent, Joe Moses and Blxst.”
Bellinger and Nieman J’s album “Optimal Music” is currently available for listening on Apple Music, Spotify, TIDAL and YouTube.
