Exclusive: Drake’s Tattoo Artist Artist Discusses His New Chest Tattoo

Toronto’s crown jewel, rapper Drake, has contributed more to the music scene than just five standout studio albums. He’s also branched out into the business world, landing a number of international endorsement deals—from Sprite to Burger King. However, his most notable project aside from his own music happens to be his record label OVO Sound.

Drake established OVO Sound in 2012, alongside producer Noah “40” Shebib and business partner Oliver El-Khatib. The label is currently distributed by Warner Bros. Records and has released two platinum certified albums. 

In the past, Drake and his cofounders have shown their pride for OVO Sound with apparel, however, Drake recently took his passion one step further with a huge tattoo.

In a video posted to Drake’s Instagram, the rapper showed off a huge chest tattoo while hanging out in a pool. Later on, Drake posted a mirror selfie to his Instagram story which better displayed his brand new tattoo.

According to Belgium tattoo artist Inal Bersekov, the piece is “the OVO owl catching a mouse.” It’s currently in the process of being completed, however, Bersekov is not able to share more about the piece at this time. 

In the past, Bersekov has inked a number of other tattoos on Drake—including several realism portraits. And with Bersekov’s impressive tattoo talent and Drake’s status as a hip-hop icon, we cannot wait to see this tattoo when it’s finished.
