We don’t know about you, but we’re ready to put this year in our rearview as soon as humanly possible. As we put the pedal to the metal and leave 2020 in our dust, it’s only appropriate to have an appropriate jam to blast on the stereo as we do so.

Now, with a mere two days left in this godforsaken year, we finally have that jam thanks to Fiona Silver. The video cuts between shots of Silver crooning on stage and images of all of the many unique horrors we had the privilege to endure over the past 363 days. As Silver sings, “The world is burning, for better or worse,” one can’t help but bring back that feeling of hopelessness so many experienced this year. But at the same time, but packing everything into the guise of one cursed year, there is optimism to be heard throughout otherwise the dark tune.
