You Won’t Believe the Height Difference Between GOT’s The Mountain and His Wife

From season four onward, Icelandic actor Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson has portrayed Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane on HBO’s Game of Thrones. The Mountain is a ruthless and violent knight who is fiercely loyal to the Lannister family, mercilessly killing whoever crosses his path. However, in real life, instead of using his strength and stature for bloodshed, he’s a professional strongman and devoted husband.

The Mountain stands in at an impressive 6’9″ and weighs approximately 400lbs, putting him in the 99.99th percentile. Yet, despite his impressive size, his spouse is the furthest from a giant. Kelsey Henson stands at just 5’2″ tall, making her a pint-sized female by almost every standard. And seeing these two side-by-side truly emphasizes their extreme height difference.
