Help This Tattooer Fight Cancer
Take a look at Joshua Carlton's story and how you can help out
It’s time to help one of our own. Joshua Carlton is a tattooer based in Eugene, Oregon who specializes in black-and-grey realism. He’s had an incredible impact on the industry over the course of his 28 year long career. He’s impacted thousands and now it’s time to help an artist in need.
Carlton was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He will soon enter surgery and have to take weeks off of work. And as any tattooer knows, this is a big deal and will affect him, and his loved ones, financially. His friend Erin Rust Smith set up a Go Fund Me to help Carlton, his wife Nichole and his two children cope with this burden. Every dollar counts and as Smith has said, “Joshua is well known for being incredibly generous with his time and knowledge, helping thousands of artists over the years. It has always been his goal to leave tattooing better than he found it.”
Take a look at some of Joshua Carlton’s beautiful tattoos and if you can, donate to his recovery.
