Kodak Black Gets Sentenced
He's getting nearly four years
Back in August, rapper Kodak Black was charged with and plead guilty to federal weapons charges. Today, he received his sentence of almost four years of federal prison. He posted a photo to his Instagram with the caption “Hold It Down While I’m On Lock. Calling Shots From The Box.”

The charges came due to the rapper allegedly lying on his Florida fire-arm application forms about previous convictions, stating that he had not been under indictment for felony charges when he was. Now the rapper is sentenced to 46 months in prison, which is nearly four years.
Originally Black was held on $550,000 bail, but the judge revoked the bail after stating Black was “a danger to the community because he wants to have access to firearms.”
This charge comes after a slew of others in recent years- including sexual assault charges, drug charges, and other firearm charges.
