Young Lord Voldemort Transformed Into a Tattooed Hunk For Upcoming Film

Hero Fiennes-Tiffin Went From Harry Potter Actor to Hollywood Heartthrob

Based on the 2014 novel by Anna Todd, After is expected to be one of the steamiest films of 2019. The story follows Tessa, an obedient college student who begins a tumultuous relationship with the biggest rebel in town. The film stars Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, the latter fans may recognize from one of the most magical film series of the century.

Hero Fiennes-Tiffins got his big break in 2009, playing a young Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. At the age of 12, Fiennes-Tiffin’s Riddle is shown in a memory of Albus Dumbledore, who recruits Riddle on behalf of Hogwarts. Thousands of child actors auditioned for the coveted role, however, Fiennes-Tiffin was chosen by director David Yates for his ability to bring darkness out of his line readings. And although his talent did help the actor get his foot in the door, his relation to Ralph Fiennes (his Uncle and the adult Lord Voldemort) helped seal the deal.

While his time playing Lord Voldemort may have been short, his portrayal of the character has stayed with the fanbase for years to come. That’s why his transformation into a brooding college student for his upcoming film is especially startling, as fans still remember his young face like it was yesterday. However, Fiennes-Tiffin is no longer a boy but instead a man who will be turning up the heat in 2019’s After. In the film, Fiennes-Tiffin plays a tattooed bad boy whom the author loosely based on Harry Styles. And while the actor’s ink may just be makeup, we’re smitten with this tatted up leading man

What do you think of this actor’s transformation? Can you believe you’re looking at the young Lord Voldemort? Let us know your thoughts, opinions, and questions on this story in the comments section.
