Tattoo Legend Mister Cartoon Redesigns LA Clipper’s Uniform
Take a look at the basketball uniform designed by the lettering master
This week, the Los Angeles Clippers revealed their brand new city uniform on the cover of Sports Illustrated. The design takes inspiration from the city’s rich and vibrant culture, which happens to include tattoos. Los Angeles tattoo legend, Mister Cartoon is credited as collaborating with team owner Steve Ballmer on the new uniform’s design, paying homage to classic West Coast style tattoo lettering. Mister Cartoon not only played a large role in developing and influencing this popular style of tattooing, but calls celebrities like Eminem, Kobe Bryant, Beyoncé and Snoop Dogg his clientele.
These Jerseys make their debut on the court on November 22nd, during their home game against Houston, and will go on sale on November 27th.
