Watch Scarlett Johansson and Brie Larson React To Fan Tattoos Of Their Faces
"What's in the middle of my forehead?"
Scarlett Johansson has been a long-time client of Josh Lord at East Side Ink, who tells INKED about tattooing the cast of Avengers, as well as getting tattooed by them.
Lord had previously inked “longest-running celebrity customer and dear friend” Scarlett Johansson, who gotten matching tattoos with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, and Chris Evans for Avengers: Infinity War.
The hardest part of creating the Avengers’ tattoo, was getting “the six biggest actors on the planet to agree on one design,” Lord said.
On getting tattooed by the cast, Lord said, “With respect to the one that my wife did on me, of course, that’s pretty much my favorite tattoo. It was just a phenomenally hilarious experience all around. Everyone’s personality really came out in the lines, and everyone took it seriously.”
Lord said that Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans were the best. “Those guys really showed off a little bit,” Lord said. “Chris Hemsworth really hurt me. He dug in right to my bone I think. I think he was getting revenge for his ribs… he is very strong.”
Most recently, Lord took to Instagram to celebrate Avengers: Endgame, to show off some ScarJo behind-the-scenes.
Lord writes, “Scarlett Johansson showing the top half of her back tattoo at the Avengers premier! I’ve gotten to tattoo (and GET tattoos from) this perfect, kind and ridiculously talented lady for almost a DECADE! I won’t show her tattoos but I will repost them when she shows them off!!”
Ellen DeGeneres also got the Avengers: Endgame star in on the tattoo fun, along with Brie Larson. DeGeneres surprised the Marvel heroes with fan tattoos on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and it was absolutely hilarious.
