Producer Murda Beatz Discusses His Upcoming Tour with A$AP Ferg
Find out how these two hip-hop heavyweights hit it off
Next month, Canadian hip-hop producer is appearing on the last leg of A$AP Ferg’s Floor Seats Tour, making his first appearance in Pittsburgh on November 7th. We sat down with the highly sought after beat maker to learn more about how he struck up a relationship with the multi-platinum rapper and what sets Ferg apart from other artists in the game.
“Ferg and I have been friends in the industry for maybe three years or a little more, but we’ve never really worked,” shares Beatz. “It’s always been a conversation of the phone about when we work, what we’re going to do or how people need to experiment more with modern music.
This year when I performed as Coachella, he came out and saw how lit I had the crowd, how turned up the whole show was. Then, when he was about to announce his tour, my name probably popped up in his head to be a supporter or a headliner with him. He’s got some of the best festival music ever made. That’s all I’m saying.”
Will you be attending one of A$AP Ferg and Murda Beatz shows in a city near you? Do you think these two should collab on a track for 2020? Let us know your thoughts on this story in the comments section.
