19-Year-Old Gets Face Tattoo Because Mushrooms “Told Him” To
Should teenagers be allowed to get face tattoos?
There are many reasons why people get tattooed, however, for the most part those decisions are made while sober. However, for a 19-year-old musician and producer known by the name The Opposite of Sad, tripping on magic mushrooms inspired him to get a face tattoo. While in San Diego, Sad visited tattooer California Ames and got the tattoo “It’s fucked up but true,” on the side of his face.
In an interview with LadBible, he explains that the mushrooms told him to get this tattoo, saying “I went to Lavish Tattoo on EL Cajon after believing it was my duty to get the tattoo. I remember laying down and having a rush of the universe smacking me all over my brain and body. I was tripping really hard and the universe told me the phrase: ‘It’s f***ed up but true.'”
In addition to his shocking face tattoos, Sad has a number of other drug related tattoos, including a bottle dripping LSD on the side of his neck and the words “Dead High” on his knuckles. All we can say is that we hope his career as a SoundCloud rapper takes off, or else laser removal will certainly be in the near future.
What do you think of this teen’s reasoning for getting a face tattoo? Would you dare tattoo your face while intoxicated? Curious what his music sounds like? Take a look down below and let us know your thoughts on this story in the comments section.
