Nickelodeon Steps Into Streaming
Get ready to spend your days reliving your childhood
Get ready to relive your childhood folks- Nickelodeon is coming to Netflix. Right after the Disney+ launch, Nickelodeon and Netflix announced that the two will be signing an agreement that allows Netflix to make reboots of classic Nick shows.
The goal is for Netflix to gain more child friendly content, as well as more cartoons as they state that nearly 60% of their audience watches cartoons and children shows. Nickelodeon plans on rebooting classics including Rocko’s Modern Life, Invader Zim, and more of the classic cartoons.
It’s unsure when these new reboots will air, but it’ll definitely be interesting to see how Nickelodeon and Netflix continue to compete with Disney+ for young viewers.
