Why WWE’s Paige is Removing Her Controversial Hand Tattoos

Take a look at the wrestler's tattoo regret confession

Saraya Bevis, better known as Paige, is a former WWE wrestler who achieved two Divas Championship titles and an NXT Championship during her career. In 2018, Bevis retired from wrestling due to an injury but has continued to work with the company. In February of 2019, a biographical film about Bevis’ life premiered, which starred Hollywood legends Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’, Vince Vaughn, and Lena Headey.

Go give @l2aquel a follow. Her photography is getting so great. Here’s some she snapped in about 5 mins. She’s a wonderful human and is gonna kill it in the photography world.

Since the film debuted, TMZ Sports caught up with Bevis to learn about her future plans. In the interview, Bevis revealed that she planned to enter into acting and aimed to remove her hand tattoos in order to be more approachable to casting directors. She’s far from the first WWE alum to enter into acting, with Johnson and John Cena starring in some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters.

The tattoos which Bevis mentions in her interview were inked by artist Earl Funk prior to her retirement from wrestling. They feature the phrase, “Talk Shit/Get Bit,” in graphic black ink. As these tattoos are less than two years old, it will likely take a few sessions for Bevis to have them completely removed. On the other hand, they’re in a spot prone to rapid fading, which will aid in the process.
